Description

A fine antique French basket chandelier, of elegant and highly decorative form, surmounted by a distinctive five-sided crown. From the crown hang a row of half cut Albert crystals and graceful chains of graduated button crystals, descend in a delicate cascade and gather into an ornate central brass band, richly embellished with large, sparkling button crystals and a row of half cut Alberts.
Beneath the central band, the chandelier forms a traditional crystal bag, composed of graduated rows of button crystals, incorporating a prominent large coffin-shaped crystal which provides a striking focal point to the lower section. The bag gathers into a decorative brass bottom band, from which hang delicate small half-cut Albert drops, adding further movement and sparkle to the base.
Height 74cm x Width 40cm, this is the height of the chandelier without the chain and ceiling rose which comes with the chandelier and can be adjusted to individual requirements.
